Exchange Manager

Unified Active Directory and Exchange Management

EmpowerID Exchange Manager automates and simplifies the complex process of provisioning, managing and auditing Microsoft Exchange mailboxes and contacts. Prior to Exchange 2007, administrators could use the extensions provided by Exchange to manage users and mailboxes from a single interface — the Active Directory Users and Computers console. With the advent of Exchange 2007, however, those extensions were removed and administrators forced to use different tools to accomplish the same tasks. EmpowerID Exchange Manager restores that capability, providing the much needed reunification of Active Directory and Exchange Management into a single console with a robust Role-Based Access Control security model that eliminates complex permission management in Active Directory.

Key Benefits:

  • Reduces costs with over 40 ready-to-use workflows for automated mailbox provisioning, administration, and self-service
  • Frees constrained technical resources from unneeded direct participation by securely delegating to users and privileged staff
  • Eliminates complex permissions management and the need to delegate the native permissions in Active Directory and Exchange required for business or technical users to perform user management tasks
  • Strengthens security and assists with compliance requirements by providing instant access to user privileges, when and why they were granted, and who approved them
  • Reduces risk with a Separation of Duties (SoD) policy engine that detects toxic permissions assignment combinations and provides attestation and access reviews

Key Features:
